Spain

Location: Spain is located in South Western Europe. It borders France and Portugal.

Language: The language spoken is Spanish

Curiosity: Tomatina – It’s a festival in the city of Buñol. People take their stress to throw tomatoes at each other. It´s a battle of crushed tomatoes that are thrown away afterwards.

Culture: Bullfighting – Is a cultural event to catch an angry bull and kill it, but sometimes the bull kills the bullfighter.

Dance: Flamenco – Flamenco is very important in Spanish culture. People use castanets as a musical instrument.

Typical clothes: Each region has a different costume, but the women almost always wear riffed skirts and flowers.

Vietnam

Vietnam is a country in Southeast Asia, situated in South China sea and known for its beaches, rivers, buddhist pagodas, and bustling cities. Hanoi, the capital, pays homage to the nation’s famous communist leader, Ho Chi Minh, with a huge marble mausoleum. Ho Chi Minh City (formerly Saigon) has French colonial monuments as well as museums of the history of the Vietnam War and the Cu Chi tunnels, used by Vietcong Soldiers.

Foods of Vietnam: Pho (a soup made with rice noodles, meat (chicken or beef) and vegetables), Cao Lau, Goi Cuon, Banh Xeo and Banh Mi.

Curiosities of Vietnam: From the traditional comical hat to the Lunar New Year festivities, Vietnam is a destination that involves and conquers any traveler with its uniqueness. For much of its history, Vietnam was ruled by different dynasties. The first of these was the Hun Vuong Dynasty, which ruled the country for more than 2,500 years, according to Vietnamese tradition.

Animals of Vietnam: Bears, tigers, panthers, leopards, monkeys, snakes of many kinds, including pythons, lizards, freshwater fishes, otters and more than a hundred species of birds.

China

The country I chose is China. Chinese food includes kung pao chicken, which is a seasoned chicken with vegetables and peanuts. They also eat dumplings with vegetables or meat inside.

Their typical dress is called hanfu. China’s traditional animals are giant panda, red panda and gold monkey.

Culture: Japan’s culture is related to a lot of birds and it evolves over time.

Animals: Flying giant squirrel, japanese grow, dog racoon, snow monkey.

South Africa

Language: South Africa doesn’t have a single language. Their languages are English, Afrikaans, Ndebele, Pedi, Sotho, Swati, Tsonga, Tswana, Venda, Xhosa and Zulu.

Food: Bunny chow, which is a compost of meat, fish or vegetables served in one bread; the boerewors, which is prepared with beef combined with spices and traditionally served grilled, inside a bread similar to a hot dog, accompanied by pap, a type of polenta.

One of the main characteristics of South Africa’s culture is the relationship with nature and the wildlife. In South Africa you can find a lot of species.

Capital: The capital is Dublin.

Languages: Ireland has two languages, Irish and English.
