A long time ago, in 1620, a group called “pilgrims” disembarked in America. When they arrived, they realized that they were in winter, and that they didn’t have food to eat, so they started to get sick. But when the spring came, they had to learn how to cook. The native americans learned how the pilgrims got food, like fishing, planting and other activities. In the autumn, the pilgrims had a big harvest and a lot of food, so they decided to have a big dinner, as they were grateful for the harvest. This is the history of Thanksgiving.
