Maria Eduarda at Interlagos
By: Maria Eduarda Bruno (Grade 6)
If you, as the old me, believe that going to a GP is an unreachable dream, let me show you how wrong you are! In the first week of November, I went to Interlagos to experience it.
The Formula 1 event lasts three days. The tickets were sold one year before on Eventin. You may have a bit of stress on this website, but do not give up, it’ll be worth the wait! Interlagos is where everything happens. Circa from there, the hotels are very expensive, so normally the fans choose to stay downtown. The main choice of transport are the subways and trains.
I bought a ticket for the G zone, where I can see almost all the circuit. However, as nothing is perfect, there were some issues. This was an open area, so I struggled with hot sun and wet rain all over my head. Furthermore, the foods and drinks were extremely overpriced. One bottle of water was eight reais.
Not only will I keep on going to the races but also will boost people to go. So if you are considering it I strongly recommend, but to prepare your body for a lot of intensity.
