My favorite kind of music is punk, more specifically, punk rock. My first memory of me listening to it is my dad putting Green Day and The Offspring on the car radio when I was 6 years old. After some time, I finally started to listen to music on my own, and Green Day, my favorite band, reintroduced this genre in my life. It was very important for my development as a person starting to listen to it. Punk rock is amazing mainly for its criticism. This made me love the genre and create strong opinions. 

Nowadays, unfortunately, punk rock is not in a great phase, with no new bands emerging, but you can find new artists in social media such as Tiktok and Twitter, and you can also find great and cheap shows near you just by googling. 

Unfortunately, until now I’ve never gone to a punk rock concert, but I really want to. Green Day will probably come to Brazil in 2025 and The Offspring came recently to São Paulo, so, even though it is not a very good time to be a punk rock fan, I see a great future for us.
