Have you ever heard about Rock in Rio?

Rock in Rio is a famous festival in Rio de Janeiro which happens every two years.

Several famous artists have already participated in this great event and brought together thousands of fans to enjoy the music, such as Post Malone, Freddy Mercury, Rihanna, Gun’s and Roses, Shawn Mendes and many others.

This year we will have a very illustrious presence. The rapper Travis Scott will be one of the headliners of the event in September. Travis is considered one of the best rappers of the new generation, if not the best. Every year he breaks record after record. His new album, called “Utopia”, released in July 2023, was the best debut by an album last year, with 128 million streams on Spotify on the first day.

Leaving Travis Scott aside for a moment, let’s talk about how the world famous Rock in Rio came about. The year was 1985, and the country was going through major transformations. After a long period under a military dictatorship, Brazil was beginning to take its first steps towards democracy. It was in this scenario that Rock in Rio was born. For the first time, a South American country hosted a musical event of this magnitude.

So if I were you, I wouldn’t miss the opportunity to attend this year.
