Have you ever been to The Town? If you haven’t, you must go once. The festival is organized by the same company of Rock in Rio and its first edition happened in September 2023 becoming a memorable event.

To kick things off in style, the festival lineup featured Maroon 5, Bruno Mars, and Demi Lovato. Despite the international artists, Brazil was represented by Ney Matogrosso and Racionais. Over one hundred thousand people attended the festival. On the other hand, there were many complaints, such as traffic and public transportation issues, long lines, customer service and inadequate VIP areas.

To improve their reputation for the following edition, which took place in September 2025, they focused on increasing the quality of the event based on the complaints from the previous festival.

Something that never changes is how marvelous the lineup is. This edition featured world-class artists and bands, such as Travis Scott, Katy Perry, Mariah Carey and Backstreet Boys. Moreover, there were classic Brazilian names, for example Ivete Sangalo, Belo and Joelma, in addition to artists famous among teenagers, like Filipe Ret, Matuê and Luisa Sonza.

On the whole, The Town is an amazing festival that is here to stay for years. It has featured important Brazilian and international artists. Besides, it still offers a high-quality experience for visitors.
