Do you guys watch European football? If you don’t, you should, as it’s the most elegant and beautiful championship. Besides, in the European Championship you have the chance to watch all European footballers playing together for their countries.
The Euros started on June 14th. Every football fan is excited about it because it’s the last games of Tony Kroos, German Real Madrid player, as he will retire at the end of the championship. Mbappé has recently signed with Real Madrid, so everyone is waiting for him to shine as he is the future of global football. The nations which are the most getting attention are England, France, Germany and Portugal.
The British squad is catching people’s eyes because they have a golden generation that has been labeled as a wasted talent, since they haven’t demonstrated the potential they could, and most of the blame is credited to the head coach, Gareth Southgate. Southgate isn’t selecting the best squad that he could with the British team.
Like I’ve said before, everyone is looking for the French player Mbappé. But he isn’t the only one, their entire generation that won the 2018 World Cup and went second on the last one.
Germany has lost the power that it used to have. Nowadays, it has been a disaster, they haven’t been playing the strong and magic football they used to. In contrast, they are in the spotlight as Tony Kross is back and he is a big representation of leadership, and the team seems more organized with the new manager.
One of the best footballers of all time plays for Portugal and his name is Cristiano Ronaldo, aka CR7. The Portuguese team is very talented. However, their manager doesn’t look like he knows what he’s doing. It’s probably Cristiano’s last time playing the Euro.
The magic is in the air and the shots are being made. Now, it’s time to cheer and also to enjoy.
