Have you ever thought about how old are the Martial Arts and what benefits it can bring to our lives? It is a fact that this set of techniques have been passed through generations for centuries to the West, having its origin in the East. Although this practice is very old, it can be advantageous to our health, if it is done correctly.

Firstly, we all know that practicing sports improves our mental health and our cognitive ability. In addition to these benefits, martial arts bring another advantage: self-defense. This weapon can be used both for good and for evil.

Unfortunately, there are people that use Martial Arts to hurt the innocent ones who cannot fight back. The “Martial doctrine” has as a pillar the exclusive use of this weapon for critical situations, in which your life is threatened.

Martial arts, such as everything in life, has its bonus and onus, and it is up to us to decide how we will use it. This amount of techniques gives the practitioner more courage and self-esteem to face the challenges of life. Furthermore, they improve the way we see the world around us and relate to our friends and family. That being said, what about giving a chance to this new world of possibilities and seeing this set of benefits in your life?
