Junior Santos was born in 1994 in Conceição de Jacuípe.When he completed 20 years he traveled to Salvador looking for new opportunities.

Being a football player never crossed his mind, so when he arrived in Salvador he started to work as a bricklayer. He played soccer only as a hobby, but over time, he became an amateur player and when he saw a future in soccer, he quit his job as a servant. He went through a lot and he thought about giving up, but when he called his father and said that he would come back to Conceição de Jacuípe, his father told him that if he did it, he would never talk to him again, so he stayed and the things start to work out for him.

He received an offer from a fourth division team in São Paulo, earning very little, but he accepted the offer in pursuit of his dream. Now, he is one of the best players in Botafogo, being a top scorer for the Libertadores. He definitely changed his life!
