Are you an avid reader like me? Then you are in the right place! Did you know that this year a book event called Bienal is going to take place in Rio? Yes, believe it. Bienal is an event where people have the chance to meet their favorite authors, buy cheaper books, and get to know new artworks. This article is going to answer all your questions about this event.

When will it be?

Bienal will take place from June 13 to 22. On different days, various authors will attend the event. This year, for example, Lynn Painter, a romance writer, will be there on the 14th. Rafael Montes, a Brazilian author who is currently gaining popularity for writing a novel called “Beijo Fatal”, will be present for three days, and many other artists too. Additionally, for the 2025 Bienal, several new attractions have already been announced, such as a maze and a Ferris wheel. All of this is included in a single cultural event.

How to buy the tickets? How much? How to get there?

You can buy it on eventim.com.br for R$39 (full price) or R$19.50 (half price). Bienal will take place at Riocentro in Rio de Janeiro, and you can get there by bus, car, or subway. If you don’t want to go when it’s too crowded, I recommend going on a weekday, as the event is usually very busy on weekends.
