After the success of “Rock in Rio”, its creators decided to bring something as big to the center of Brazil’s economy, São Paulo. It was called “The Town”, happening the year after each Rock in Rio, and it has been a huge success.

In 2025, another edition of The Town will take place, and known names as Sex Pistols, Green Day, Katy Perry and the Brazilian band, Capital Inicial, as confirmed in the festival. Based on the plurality of the festival, it’s clear that it is not focused on pop or rock music, it’s focused on almost every music genre. Considering this, it is the best music event for eclectic people, you and enjoy a lot of different bands while eating in amazing restaurants.

However, The Town is not a bed of roses, the huge prices is one of its bad points. It is important to highlight that it’s still a new event, so there aren’t any attractions apart from the shows, unlike Rock in Rio, which has lots of attractions, such as a giant road. So, if you want to have fun not only with music, The Town, at least, for now, it’s not the best option.

In conclusion, The Town is perfect for music enjoyers, they are its target audience and they get satisfied with mastery. But, if you are not one of these people, you may not be as happy as them.
