Are you a wanderlust? We are always talking about the other countries but do we know what’s invisible in our’s? Brazilian culture is much more interesting than you think and we can prove it!

Thinking about traveling, we always want to go outside, but there are many paradisiacal places inside our country and here are some of them:

– Anavilhanas

This place is a fluvial archipelago located on the Amazon riverbank. This group has approximately 400 islands and 60 lakes, forming a beautiful and complex labyrinth.

– Vale da Lua (Moon Valley)

One of the main attractions of Chapada dos Veadeiros, in the state of Goiás, is a peculiar set of rock formations carved into them by the waters of São Miguel River. It got its name because of the similarity with lunar craters. Among its caves and crevices you can find waterfalls and natural pools with crystal clear water, perfect for bathing.

– Xingó Canyon

One of the biggest canyons in the world, is located on the banks of the famous São Francisco River in the state of Sergipe.

This deep valley is 65 kilometers long, 170 meters deep, and has rocky walls of more than 60 million years that extend in its waters. In the canyon, we can still find traces of the first people who lived there more than 8,000 years ago, such as rock painting and ceramic pieces.

– Lago Azul Cave

This cave is in Bonito, and it’s approximately 100 meters deep. To reach that place, you need to walk down a huge staircase. This stunning lake of bluish waters is about 10 million years old, and fossils of prehistoric animals can even be found in it. It is an incredible place to go with your family, because of its beautiful landscape and adventurous opportunities.

These are some of the Brazilian “Wonders” that aren’t properly recognized and known to the world. There are many more places with amazing and interesting stories and culture for you to find out.
