Gig economy is a work model based on temporary jobs, such as drivers, delivery people and freelancers, for example. This model offers flexibility and autonomy, allowing professionals to choose when and how to work. On the other hand, there is a lack of financial stability, no benefits and high competition.
Despite the challenges, this economy will continue to grow, especially with the advancement of technology and the increase in remote work.
In short, the gig economy represents a new way of working, which offers freedom but also challenges. It can be a good option for those seeking autonomy and extra income, but it is important to be aware of the lack of guarantees that the traditional model offers.
