Do you know the importance of kids cooking their food?
Simple things can bring independence and fun to a boring dish. They can distract kids from mobiles, tablets, TV and computers. Besides, it can even become a future hobby, or maybe a profession!
Parents can choose one or two days in a week to cook with their children and search for different recipes that don’t require a lot of work. This influences children’s nutrition by preparing delicious dishes using healthy ingredients, such as fruit and vegetables.
Among the benefits of this activity to kids, spending time with the family could be listed as top #1. Moreover, they will learn the importance of eating healthy and have some quality time. The habit of cooking also stimulates their creativity, and they might start enjoying simple things.

Ingredients:
1 cup of unsweetened almond milk
1 medium banana
½ cup of frozen unsweetened blueberries
¼ cup of oatmeal
1 teaspoon of maple syrup
1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
Dash sea salt
Directions:
Place the milk, banana, blueberries, oatmeal, maple syrup and cinnamon in a blender, cover and blitz until it gets smooth. Pour into two chilled glasses, then sprinkle with sea salt. Serve it immediately. Have a whale of a time!
