You have probably listened to something about kpop, right? Well, this is my favorite kind of music. K-pop, or Korean Pop, came out in April 1992 with a boy band called “Seo Taiji and the Boys”. This genre is a mix of pop and hip hop, with a lot of different choreographies and groups. Music is very important to me because listening to music helps me to concentrate, relax when I’m annoyed or anxious and makes me very delighted.

Sometimes people ask me: “how do you know so many kpop bands? The answer is easy! There are kpop awards happening all the time and you can watch them on Mnet Channel.

My favorite group is BTS, an acronym for “bulletproof boys” in Korean. They inspire me with their songs and make me love myself more. The songs I like the most are “Answer: Love Myself”, “Wings”, “So What” and “Ugh”, because they portray my feelings on different days. Each one of them represents a state of mind.
What about you, do you have a favorite band? Have you been to their concert? I have never been to any BTS’, but someday, mark my words, I will!
