Have you ever heard about Neymar Jr? Probably yes. However, you might have listened to his whole story. Firstly, his name is Neymar da Silva Santos Júnior, he was born in Mogi das Cruzes, São Paulo on February 5th.

Nowadays, he’s considered one of the best players of all time, whose trajectory has started in Santos Futebol Clube. Even as a boy, Neymar was already brilliant with his skills and amazing goals. In this context, Santos was “forced” to create a category just for him to play. During his teenagehood he was close to being a Real Madrid player. Despite this, his family and the club haven’t found agreement because Real Madrid wasn’t into paying 60.000 euros to have him.

After Neymar’s fantastic seasons in Santos, winning a lot of titles, the main ones being Libertadores da América and Copa do Brasil twice, he moved to Barcelona for 17 millions of euros, in 2013/14 european season, starting what it would be considered for most fans his prime, forming the historical trio “MSN” with Lionel Messi and Luis Suárez. Besides, they have won a lot of titles, and among them, the major one for Neymar’s career, the Champions League. Neymar stayed in Barcelona until 2017 when he was transferred to PSG for 222 millions of euros, being until nowadays the most expensive transfer of all time. While Neymar was in PSG, he suffered many injuries. However, even the injuries couldn’t stop him from playing his magical and first-class soccer. In addition, he was close to winning the Champions League again, as a key player, although it didn’t happen. To finish, Neymar moved, after the 2022 World Cup, to Al Hilal, receiving a huge amount of money, but he suffered an injury which made him out for 1 year.

On the whole, Neymar’s career was full of highs and lows, but showing up in every opportunity the brilliant player he is. Nowadays, he moved back to Santos on the purpose to show that he still can play at a high level. We wish him good luck.
