After losing the 2020 presidential election Donald Trump made a huge comeback in the run for president. He defeated the Democrats’ candidate B, a huge landslide, a fact that surprised many people including me. Now, the orange man has been sworn in as the 47th US  president and some predictions can be made about his second term.

In my view, Trump will be able to accomplish most of his campaign promises with ease. Important changes will be made in immigration, many illegals will be deported and American society will start to gain a right-wing cultural momentum. A friend of mine even said that he voted for Donald as he promised to end “Wokeism”.

The republican candidate also said during his first address as commander-in-chief that he will stop the US’ decline. However, this will be a difficult promise to achieve, as countries such as China have been taking the US role as the global superpower.

In conclusion, the new president of the United States is up to an incredible start to his term. I’m eager to observe how his actions will influence his own country and the world. If it will be for the better or worse, only time can tell.
