Everybody who lives on this planet has been through a change. It doesn’t matter if it was a big one or a simple one, changes have an impact on our lives. The consequences of the adjustment could be positive or negative for the individual, and it is necessary to look at both sides of the coin.
Changes force you to adapt and leave your comfort zone. This allows you to have a different perspective of the world, and have the experience of trying new activities and obtaining knowledge. If you move abroad, for example, you could be in contact with another culture, meet people with a different mindset and get used to a new reality. Exposing yourself to this distinct environment can improve your social skills and expand your knowledge.
On the other hand, in some cases we don’t adapt to the change, and it becomes a problem. If you change to a different school, for example, you might not be able to socialize or get good grades, because you don’t feel comfortable in this new reality. In extreme cases, changes could lead to mental diseases, like depression and anxiety.
Regardless of the change, it’s important to analyze if it brought benefits to you, enjoy the good side of the adjustment and try to fix the bad part of it.
