Social invisibility happens when certain individuals or groups are ignored or overlooked by society because of their color, social class, age, race or other differences from the “norm”. These people often go unnoticed in public spaces or conversations, having only their existence acknowledged when it interests others, leaving them without a voice, representation or recognition.
This invisibility ends up deepening social inequality, as the problems and struggles of these people stay hidden. To change this reality it’s essential to promote equality and empathy, gaining public attention to everyone’s day to day fights, so that every person can get an opportunity to follow their dreams.
