By: Vicente Ferraz (Grade 6)

The jungle was omnipresent. The only clear spot in my eyesight was a past of the blue sky, surrounded by infinite leaves.

Apart from animal sounds coming from the wilderness, I could only hear the waves cracking on the beach and the loud singing of the birds.

It was difficult to move around. To get a lane of my new island. The only thing I could do was climbing.

As I arrived at the top of a huge rock, it was clear. I was stranded. I could feel the scars on my face. The wind blowing. My wet clothing. The sunburns. My hair full of salt and dirt. Apart from the island, I could only see the infinite ocean.
