Physical and mental health are fundamental in today’s world where we are always under pressure to be super productive and constantly comparing ourselves with people on social media. Humans need to practice self-care throughout their lives, especially in their youth when they are in the development phase.

People should always pay attention to their mental health, for example, by seeing a therapist every once in a while. However, there are still people who believe it is a waste of time or think they need to have an apparent mental problem to visit a specialist. Little do they know that it is a necessity to take care of their own minds, regardless of whether they have a disorder or not.

Maintaining physical health is also extremely important. The goal should be the balance between both physical and mental health. Without one of them, it is not possible to maintain the other. Sometimes, when people are stressed out they just need to go for a run or even a walk, exercises can be strongly helpful to district themselves and relax from stressful situations. This way, the body moves and the mind is preserved at the same time.

In conclusion, one cannot underestimate the value of self-care to maintain a healthy lifestyle. People should focus on the balance of physical and mental health to survive in today’s world and love themselves for who they are.
