The Copa America started last Thursday (June 20th) with the match between Argentina and Canada. To be more clear for everybody it’s a tournament of the national teams from South America. However, this year we will have some guest countries from North and Central America.
The championship has just started, but it has already collected some polemic topics. As the size of the fields that are smaller than FIFA’s standard. In my opinion, it’s a fair complaint because it affects the game directly, mainly for the top level teams like Brazil and Argentina that are used to a more physical game. Beyond that, another polemic has been talked about by the media recently involving the distance between the host cities in the USA. I think it can be exhausting and different from the reality of the close cities and countries in Europe.
I know Brazil hasn’t been meeting our expectations, but I believe that we must unite more than ever to spread our passion for the country and support the players. That’s all. GO BRAZIL!!!
