This Saturday (August 31st, 2024), the app Twitter was banned. Twitter is a social media where people post their feelings, memes, opinions about society, gossip, fanfics… But Twitter was just banned in Brazil.

This occurred because Elon Musk was in touch with businessman’s and criminal’s accounts. The Brazilian court said that if Elon Musk didn’t delete these criminals’ accounts, the app would be deleted from Brazil, and it was.

The last meme in Brazilian Twitter was the soap opera “Pé de Chineza”. Someone invented this “soap opera” and many people believed it. The meme gained a lot of reputation because people created edits, the cast, the intro, the author and the backstage of the “scenes”. The person who created this “soap opera” said that the script was made by Gloria Perez and she needed to go public telling that the soap opera wasn’t true.
