Why is the privatization of beaches unfair and illegal”? Since people who go there and were born in a place with a beach cannot go there anymore, it affects the economy of the country too, and it’s illegal because it’s a public space.

Rio de Janeiro is a city in Brazil known for having a bunch of tourists areas, such as Christ the Redeemer and Sugar Loaf, and mainly its beaches, and with its privatization, the economy not only the state/city of Rio de Janeiro but also the country’s, since people won’t pay to go to a public place which was privatized if you can travel to another place where they’re still free.

It’s really unfair to people who had a hard week not being able to spend their weekend on the beaches.
