Inside Out is a Disney/Pixar success and now the second movie will be released in June, 2024.

This year, people all around the world and, especially, Disney fans are excited for the new films that are coming soon this year, in 2025 and in 2026. The expectations are high! But why are people so excited about it? 

To answer that question, it is simple: Disney, for example, is continuing many famous stories and classic movies. For you to be updated to the cinema topic, let’s start with the 2024 films.

The first movie we will comment about is called Inside Out and it was released in 2015. The plot is about a girl called Riley and how her emotions are controlled. Inside her head lives Anger, Fear, Sadness and Joy, and each emotion has a unique personality. They have a control table, where they can click on buttons, push levers and this reflects in Riley’s life and reactions. But, as in all movies, a big problem happens to that and all Riley’s good memories and happiness are at risk.

Inside Out 2 is coming soon, on June 14th of this year. It talks about Riley’s adolescence, which brings new emotions: Anxiety, Envy, Embarrassment and Ennui. These characters will change the system and control Riley’s life in a different way. And this can cause problems in the girl’s life.

After the release of Inside Out 2, another famous and very loved movie series will continue: Despicable Me 4. According to the official trailer, the adventures have the same main characters: Lucy, Edith, Margô, Agnes, Gru and the very loved Minions. But now, there is a new member for the family: a little baby! The movie will come out this year, on July 3rd.

Another big success especially for Disney fans is Moana, a movie that was released in 2017. Now, Disney decided to continue this story and is preparing a second movie. We still don’t have much information about what will happen, but a big and new ocean adventure is coming soon! The film will launch on November 27th of 2024..

Now, talking about the next years (2025 and 2026) we will see many new animations, like: Zootopia 2, Frozen 3 and Toy Story 5.

Zootopia is a 2016 movie and it talks about a normal life, like human’s, but with animals in it. It has a lot of music and colors too. The story is about a rabbit that has the dream to be a police officer and she lives an adventure to accomplish it. If you haven’t watched it yet, watch it until 2025, because Zootopia 2 is coming and it will release on November 26th of that year.

For 2026, Frozen 3 will be released on November 25th, with a powerful story about the hot and cold sides, Ana and Elsa and secrets about the past can be revealed.

For the same year, Toy Story 5 is coming out on June 19th, continuing the series of 4 movies.

Now, talking about live-actions, Disney has been planning many of them for the next years, like Snow White and The Seven Dwarves, for March 21st (2025), Moana, for July 10th (2026), Bambi (without a planned date yet) and Hercules (without a planned date yet).

Well, now that you know all the movies that will release soon for this year (2024) and for the next ones (2025 and 2026) and if you like cool animations, take notes of these dates and when it comes, buy your tickets for great cinema nights!
